I. LOVE. ROSEMARY.
Love, love, love. Seriously, I could put rosemary on/it anything. I love it. And my wonderful dad grows the stuff in his backyard, so I always make sure to steal some when I visit. The Dollar Tree sells it too, which works famously, too, when I don't have time to uhh...drive 400 miles in the name of herbs.
When I quizzed the nutrition store workerbees about Journey Bars, though, I was met with twin looks of disgust. In fact, they told me that the bars are SO BAD that I could take one of each flavor to try, since no one else was buying them. They must have known that the only thing I love more than Rosemary is a good freebie. Woo!
bonjour! one of the most common spices used in delicious French cooking found its way into our bars. with rosemary’s warm and earthy aroma, we realized it's the only flavor we needed for this wholesome bar. sometimes less is more.
what is a savory nutrition bar, you might ask? well it's unlike any bar you've ever seen before! the most obvious difference is the savory, instead of sweet, flavors, which are inspired by cuisines from around the world. journey bars are made from organic whole grains and other all-natural ingredients, which makes them a great-tasting, healthy alternative to the typical sweet bars. our bars are also gluten-free, non-gmo, vegan, and soy-free.
another great savory nutrition bar perk is that our bars don't melt! because journey bars aren't loaded with chocolate, sweeteners and other ingredients that tend to melt in warm environments, you won’t need to worry about pulling a melted, gooey mess out of your backpack after you’ve been hiking in the sun!
